The Phillips Law Firm is committed to providing personalized legal services tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. Our team is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and client advocacy.

Born and raised in Carthage, Texas, Cameron J. Phillips has always been deeply connected to his community. After graduating from Trinity School of Texas, he pursued higher education at the University of Texas at Tyler. During his time there, he was honored with a nomination and acceptance into the prestigious Archer Fellowship in Washington, D.C. As part of the fellowship, he worked with the American Council of Young Political Leaders, a nonprofit affiliated with the U.S. State Department which worked to connect diplomats, business leaders, journalists, and rising politicians with peers in their respective industries from around the world.

Following his time in Washington, D.C, Mr. Phillips attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. Upon earning his law degree, he joined The Cromeens Law Firm in Houston, focusing on Real Estate and Construction Litigation.

In 2017, he returned home to Carthage, bringing his expertise back to the community he loves. Mr. Phillips now runs The Phillips Law Firm, he now focuses on real estate law, probate, estate planning, and banking law.

Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Phillips is an active leader in the Carthage community. He is a President Emeritus of the Rotary Club of Carthage and still an active member. Currently, he is the former Chairman of the Panola County Chamber of Commerce. During his tenure as Chairman of the Chamber, he established deeper ties with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development as well as the Federal Government, updated the Bylaws of the Chamber, pursued building and renovation plans to grow the physical footprint of the Chamber and welcomed the Chamber’s 300th business member.

With a strong commitment to both his clients and his community, Mr. Phillips continues to provide trusted legal counsel while working to make Carthage a better place to live and do business.
